1.)I was searching through Amazon and I said to myself, "I need to
watch something that will melt my face off." After a half hour of
searching, I stumbled on this gem. I had already been a fan of Evil
Dead and Army of Darkness, and I was so delighted to see that there
was a series. I couldn't believe that this had slipped under my
2.)I am not sure that I can adequately summon the words that I need
to describe how epic this tv series truly is to me!! I loved the
movies, and I love the show just as much. Bruce Campbell just
cannot disappoint. STARZ definitely nailed it, and I hope that they
will continue doing the series for many more seasons!
Ten episodes was just not enough in my humble opinion. I do not
want to post any spoilers, but I will say that as a true fan the
ending left me a little disappointed. Of course I was immediately
sad that it was over, and there were no more episodes for me to
binge watch. I miss Ash and his new crew already. I do hope they
nail down an awesome evil fighting name in the second season.
For anyone who is a fan of the Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, etc.
you really owe it to yourself to watch the show. You are going to
immediately fall in love all over again. The new cast and fresh
ideas are fabulous. The lovely Lucy Lawless does not disappoint.
STARZ please hurry up with the new episodes already.. I need to
3.)Amazing, amazing, AMAZING to watch Bruce Campbell take on
deadites again after so long! Sure he's aged, but he's aged well.
Sure the scripts lack real depth, but haven't they always (helLO,
cue tree raping girl)? And this time he's managed to save himself
two young apprentices on his quest to rid the world of both evil
AND the Necrimonicon! He might be a bit off his game, reading aloud
from the book drunk and stoned and trying to impress a girl, but to
hear Ash tell it, it's been a drunk, stoned thirty YEARS of living
in the (super awesome) airstream and working the local
SMart...thirty years of sitting on that book and never once using
it to score. He must have just forgotten about the everyone
becoming dead due to EVIL if he reads from it, that's all. Bruce
Campbell should be in every movie existing. Especially Princess
